MightyData is a FileMaker Authorized Trainer (one of 12), a Platinum Member of the FileMaker Business Alliance (one of 25) and a FileMaker Certified Developer. We offer hand-on classes, free webinars and onsite training for your specific training needs.

Hands-On Classes

Our hands-on classes are fast-paced and aimed at power-users who are looking to take their skills to the next level, or developers who are looking to sharpen their skills and keep up-to-date with the latest techniques. We provide a computer with the latest version of FileMaker Pro Advanced for each student to practice new concepts during class. Classes are available for Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced levels.

Training for FileMaker 8, 9 & 10

The benefits of our hands-on training include:

• Small class size so you have plenty of interaction with the instructor
• Combination of instruction, demonstration and hand-on exercises for a complete learning experience
• Individual workstations with your choice of Windows or Mac OS X operating system
• State-of-the-art training facility with video distribution system so you can see the instructor's screen at your desk
• Time to ask questions about your FileMaker solution
• 10% discount for students who register and pay for 2 or more classes at least 14 days in advance

When you register for a hands-on class, you will need to purchase the FileMaker Training Series Manual (700+ pages) for $95.00. If you take multiple classes, you only need to purchase the manual once.

Our training center is at Digital Training & Designs, 16200 Addison Road, Suite 200, Addison, Texas 75001. Class is from 9am-5pm each day with a lunch break.

Free Webinars

These webinars are our way of giving back to the community. All you need to participate is a computer with a broadband connection (view) and a telephone (listen). Each webinar is from 10am-12pm Central time.

FileMaker for Beginners is for the new user with no previous FileMaker experience. The "Simplified Series" is for the power-user or developer that needs to learn best practices for database security, FileMaker Server and web publishing.

Onsite Training

Our onsite training is idea for the business, school or university that needs to train 3 or more people at the same time. You can select topics from our hands-on classes or web seminars; or we can customize a curriculum to your specific needs. Some of the topics we offer include: power-user techniques, data modeling, calculations, scripting, script triggers, reporting, security, FileMaker Server, integration with SQL databases and web publishing (IWP or PHP).
