SEIRS 4.0
SEIRS (Special Education, IEP and Related Services) is web-based special education software for tracking IEPs and Related Services reports. With SEIRS, your school district can customize the software to its specific needs without the assistance of our staff. This flexibility allows your district to respond quickly to changes in special education requirements (federal, state and local).
SEIRS has three modes of operation. In Design Mode, you setup the form templates and preferences for the specific requirements of your district. You can create a new form template, modify an existing form template, setup security privileges for forms, manage values lists (schools, grades...) and more. With Design Mode, you have complete control over how SEIRS works.
In Admin Mode, you manage staff assignments and monitor student progress in the education workflow. With the Student Tool, you can search for a specific student and review their complete special education file. With the Staff Tool, you setup a staff account and review their special education caseload. With the Monitor/Report Tool, you can review the progress of IEP's and Related reports and create custom reports to help manage students and staff. With Admin mode, you have a bird's-eye view of your special education program.
In Staff Mode, you work with your students (and only your students). You can modify demographic information, create a new form, modify a form and review the other documents in the student's case file. Staff Mode has several tools to help complete online forms. You can see which fields are required and receive online help and examples. You can lookup state education standards by subject and grade in the Standards & Benchmarks database. You can reference content from other documents in the student's file in an IEP. With Staff Mode, you can work quickly and accurately with the student's entire education team.
