We are one of a handful of consultancies invited to speak at the FileMaker Developer Conference each time a new version ships. MightyData is also a FileMaker Authorized Trainer for the FileMaker Training Series. We have the expertise to answer the what, when and how questions of migration and deployment of FileMaker 7-9.

MightyData creates web applications to help customers leverage the power of the internet for their employees, customers and vendors. We develop with a variety of web development tools. Instant Web Publishing in FileMaker 7-9 allows the customer to enhance their investment in FileMaker technology. While PHP allows the customer to deploy the leading open source technology with FileMaker and SQL databases.

MightyData uses the Agile method of software development. Change is a natural part of the development process. We start with what you know and embrace new information as it becomes available. Change is expected and even encouraged since custom development is by definition new product development.

1. Initial Consultation - The customer and MightyData discuss an overview of the the project to help the customer make an informed buying decision.
   
   
2. Feature Planning - The customer and MightyData create the feature list for the project and MightyData creates a high-level estimate for the project.
   
   
3. Release Planning - The customer and MightyData select a portion of the feature list that can be completed in 60-90 days. The features are then prioritized in order of importance.
   
   
4. Iteration Planning - The customer and MightyData select 3-4 features from the current Release Plan to develop in the next iteration (1-2 weeks). The high-level estimates from the Feature Plan are revisited as necessary.
   
   
5. Iteration Review - The customer and MightyData review the work from the previous iteration and then select the features for the next iteration (Rinse, lather, repeat.)
